synopsis

We created seven animated sequence for this documentary about Syrian Refugees produced by UK-based NGO Open Art, directed by Bridgette Auger and Itab Azzam. The budget was very low, so we emphasized the look and feel over the fluidity of movement. In this segment, Mona tells about the personal agony of losing her son against the backdrop of attacks on Damascus--the reality of life in a war zone.
